II. General Information

This document contains the general terms and conditions of Noir Hotel **** (hereinafter referred to as: the Hotel), which apply to room reservations and the use of services.
By making a reservation, you accept the terms described in these General Terms and Conditions. Individual agreements may also be made (e.g. for groups, travel agencies).
In extraordinary circumstances (e.g. pandemic, natural disaster), the Hotel reserves the right to supplement or amend these terms.

III. Contracting Parties

Our services may be used by guests (hereinafter: Guest), either for individual or group reservations.
If you make a reservation directly, the contract is concluded between you and the Hotel.
If the reservation is made by a third party (e.g. travel agency, online intermediary), the agreement between you and the intermediary also applies.

IV. Reservations and Use of Services

All reservations must be confirmed in writing by the Hotel. Offers are valid for 72 hours; if no feedback is received within this time, they expire.
The contract is created once the written reservation and confirmation are issued. Amendments are only valid in writing.
The Guest receives the room for the period specified in the contract. If the Guest departs earlier, the Hotel will charge the full fee.

V. Check-in and Identification (VIZA System)

Upon arrival, every Guest is required to present a valid photo ID, which will be digitally recorded in the VIZA system.
Without such ID, the Hotel cannot provide accommodation. This also applies to children, unless exempted by law.

VI. Arrival and Departure (Check-in, Check-out)
  • Check-in: from 14:00
  • Check-out: until 10:00

Later arrival must be notified in advance.
Early check-in or late check-out may be possible for an extra fee, depending on occupancy.

VII. Extension of Stay

Extensions must be approved by the Hotel in advance.
If the Guest does not leave the room by 12:30 without prior agreement, the Hotel may charge an additional night.

VIII. Prices

Current prices are available on the website (www.noirhotel.hu) and at the reception.
Prices include VAT but exclude local tourism tax (IFA).
Confirmed prices are guaranteed by the Hotel.

IX. Offers and Discounts

Special offers and promotions are published on the Hotel’s website and other channels.
They apply to individual reservations and cannot be combined with other discounts.
For groups and events, terms are set out in a separate contract.

X. Children Discounts

Accommodation is free for children aged 0–3 years.
Children aged 4–12 are charged the full price, accommodated in the parents’ room with an extra bed provided upon request, subject to availability and extra charge.

XI. Payment Methods and Guarantee

Payments can be made in cash (HUF, EUR), by credit card, SZÉP card, or by bank transfer.
The Hotel may request an advance payment or a credit card guarantee.
Invoices are issued in HUF.

XII. Advance Payment

The advance is usually 50% of the booking value, payable within 5 working days.
Payment can be made in cash, by credit card, SZÉP card, or by bank transfer.
Upon receipt, the Hotel issues an advance invoice.

XIII. Cancellation and Modification
  • Individual reservations: free cancellation up to 15 days before arrival, or up to 7 days in high season. Within these periods, the advance is non-refundable.
  • Group reservations: free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival; thereafter, cancellation fees apply.
  • Modification fee: HUF 10,000/room for the first change, HUF 15,000/room for the second.
XIV. Termination and Refusal of Contract

The Hotel may immediately terminate the contract if the Guest violates rules, fails to pay, or arrives with an infectious disease.
In case of force majeure, the contract automatically terminates.

XV. Accommodation Guarantee

If the Hotel cannot provide accommodation due to its own fault, it must arrange an alternative of equal or higher category at no extra cost to the Guest.

XVI. Guest Rights

The Guest has the right to use the booked room and Hotel facilities in accordance with their purpose.
Complaints can be submitted at the reception or in writing.

XVII. Guest Obligations

The Guest must comply with the house rules, non-smoking regulations, care for Hotel property, and settle the bill on time.
Noise is prohibited after 22:00.
Children under 14 may only stay under adult supervision.

XVIII. Pets

Pets may be brought with prior approval; guide dogs are free of charge.
Pets are only allowed in designated rooms.
Owners are responsible for any damage and for extra cleaning fees.

XIX. Hotel Rights

If the Guest fails to pay, the Hotel may exercise a lien on the property brought into the Hotel.
This does not restrict the Guest’s personal freedom of movement.

XX. Hotel Obligations

The Hotel must provide services lawfully and at the appropriate quality.
Complaints will be investigated and handled.
The Hotel ensures quiet hours after 22:00.

XXI. Guest Illness or Death

In case of illness, the Hotel will call a doctor; costs are borne by the Guest.
If the Guest has an infectious disease, services may be refused.
In case of death, the contract terminates, and no refund is given for the remaining period.

XXII. Hotel’s Liability for Damages

The Hotel is liable for items deposited or stored in designated places.
The Hotel is not liable for unavoidable external causes or damages caused by the Guest.
The Hotel is only liable for valuables if explicitly accepted for safekeeping.
The wellness area is used at the Guest’s own risk.

XXIII. Confidentiality

The Hotel treats all Guest information confidentially in accordance with data protection laws.

XXIV. Data Protection

The Hotel processes all personal data lawfully and securely.

XXV. Force Majeure

In case of force majeure (e.g. pandemic, flood, strike), neither party is liable for failure to perform obligations.
The parties shall attempt to agree on a new date, or the contract is terminated.

XXVI. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

The place of performance is the Hotel’s address.
Hungarian law applies.
In case of disputes, jurisdiction lies with the Szeged District Court or Szeged Tribunal.

XXVII. Validity of the Terms

By booking, the Guest accepts these terms.
The current version is always available at the reception and on the website.
In case of discrepancy, the individual contract prevails.

XXVIII. Annex

The in-room information booklet and house rules form an integral part of these Terms.
These Terms are effective from 1 August 2021 until revoked.
